Objectives

To learn the basic language of the consumer products world - including basic customer management and buying/merchandising terms along with key syndicated data definitions and how to use these data points to evaluate business opportunities.

Description

In today's fast-paced environment it is important to understand the basic CPG industry terminology for more effective understanding and communication. In addition, it is vitally important to leverage the rich sources of data that are available to drive decision making. This course addresses the two components of the "CPG language" that everyone must understand - basic "selling, buying and merchandising" terminology and syndicated data definitions and utility.
