Sustainability

Objectives

To build the participant's awareness and understanding of the concept of sustainability and the impact it has on the manufacturer, retailer and shopper perception and loyalty (to a product and/or a retailer). To gain a greater appreciation for how various category business planning choices can positively and negatively impact sustainability.

Description

This course will teach participants the essence of sustainability. What it is, how it is created and how it can be destroyed. The participants will learn how everyday, common merchandising (new products, packaging, promotion, retail pricing, shelving, assortment, etc.) decisions create/destroy sustainability and shopper loyalty.
